REGATHERING the CHURCH
Updated: January 30th, 2022
Blackburn Road Baptist Church has resumed our “in-person attendance” for our Sunday Morning 10:00am Worship Services & our Small Groups.
It is a Little Different !!!
As we move toward “regathering of the Church”, please know that this plan is not perfect. It is built with your health and safety in mind and in accordance with the recommendations of our State Health officers.
The health and safety of our members, our staff, and our visitors is a top priority to us. We ask in advance for your prayers, grace, and patience as we navigate through this next phase of “regathering the Church”. We promise to keep you informed as things change and progression is made.
In compliance with the recommendations of our State Health Officers and because we love and value you, our services will look a little different. Below is a list of what to expect as we “regather”:
Our “in-person regathering” is currently limited to “Sunday Morning Worship Services" and our "Mid-week Small Groups".
Wednesday Night Bible Study will continue to be “online only” until a later date in 2022 - possibly August or September.
In efforts to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 by reducing “person-to-person” contact, we have chosen to “suspend” the following: (1) Fellowship Time; (2) handing out Bulletins; (3) passing the Offering Plate; and (4) the Children’s Moment.
“Tithes and Offerings” may continue to be given to the Lord via several ways: (1) Offering Baskets will be available as you enter/exit the Sanctuary; (2) Download and use the Givelify app for your smartphone; (3) Go online to BRBC’s webpage and use the Givelify link; or (4) use the Postal Service to mail your tithes/offerings to the Church or to Bro. Aubry.
During this phase of regathering, “Nursery and Childcare services WILL NOT be provided”. However, your children can attend the Worship Service with you in the Sanctuary.
If you are “high risk or sick”, we ask that you stay home and participate in the services via Facebook Live.
For the “health and safety” of yourself, the wearing of a mask is strongly recommend by the CDC & ADPH if you have not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Our goal is for you to experience as much of a “touch free environment” as possible from the time you enter the parking lot until the time you leave. While we are working hard to ensure this, we need your help. We’re asking that you refrain from hugging, shaking hands, or entering the personal space of others and instead, give them a great big smile and wave !!!
We will continue to stream our Sunday and Wednesday services via “Facebook Live”. Sunday mornings at 10:00am and Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm.
As mentioned earlier, this plan is not perfect. However, we feel it is a good starting point as we continue to “Regather the Church”.
Please know that we desire to see each of you “in-person” and we understand that not everyone is able or comfortable to “regather” in this current phase. We want you to be safe and healthy.
We respect your decisions regarding your personal health and safety and that of your family. If you’re not able to join us “in-person”, make sure to participate with us during the “live streaming” of services.
With our love and prayers,
Your Pastor, Elders, and Deacons
